By this stage of our Brecon Beacons Walk the wind is absolutely howling! As we reach Pen y Fan there is an icon for National Trust (top right) on the mound where I place a rock. This cairn was a Bronze Age burial chamber. When it was excavated in 1991 a bronze brooch and spearhead were found inside the chamber.
